Col (Ret) Bruce Babcock

Chief Information Officer


Bruce D. Babcock, Col(ret) USAF completed a nearly 26 year career in the US Air Force in June 2009 after having served as the Deputy Director of Communications and previously Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Air National Guard.


His varied assignments include tours as a program manager for combat communications systems (Bedford, MA), NATO Communications Officer (Germany), communications detachment commander during the first Gulf War (Turkey), HQ USAF Systems Analyst (Pentagon) and Presidential Communications Officer for two Presidents (The White House).

MGen (Ret) Alan Cowles


Maj Gen (Ret) Cowles retired from the Air Force and Air National Guard after 39 years of commissioned service.  His last assignment from June 2005 to June 2008 was the National Guard Bureau’s Director of the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) [NGB J6/CIO].


Prior to working at NGB, General Cowles was assigned as the Air National Guard (ANG) special assistant at the Air Force Command and Control & Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center, Langley AFB VA, providing guidance to the Director, Air National Guard for future Air National Guard mission involvement in command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
